Human Capital Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Human Capital Consultant to join the Mass Foundation Cluster at Old Mutual. The role will support low‑ and emerging‑middle‑income customers by delivering HR solutions that align with the company’s people plan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and support to internal clients based on a deep understanding of their needs.
• Analyse HR data and recommend interventions to improve people performance.
• Assist with organisational development, employee engagement and change initiatives.
• Implement people‑plan initiatives and HR processes in the assigned client area.
• Deliver the HR calendar on schedule and monitor sales‑related HR indicators.
• Manage and mitigate employee‑relations risks.
• Execute client contracts for periods ranging from three months to one year.
• Ensure compliance with HR controls and protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management (Honours degree advantageous).
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar HR consulting role.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Based in the Nyakatho Region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and time‑management skills.
