Hub Advisor – Cape Gate Lifestyle Centre (New Store)

About the role

Dis-Chem is looking for a Hub Advisor to be the front‑of‑house concierge at the new Cape Gate Lifestyle Centre store. The Hub Advisor will guide customers through Dis‑Chem’s digital ecosystem, including Better Rewards, the Clinic, Cover, Dispensary and the Dis‑Chem App.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a premium, personalised welcome at “The Hub” and create a calm, professional first impression.
• Identify customer needs and direct them to the appropriate service across the ecosystem.
• Coordinate customer flow between waiting areas, clinical rooms and dispensary, ensuring seamless journeys.
• Anticipate and resolve friction points in real time, supporting bookings, check‑ins and payments.
• Promote adoption of loyalty programmes and digital tools, reinforcing long‑term engagement.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate.
• 5–8 years experience in customer‑facing roles such as hospitality, front‑desk, retail or premium service environments.
• Proven ability to support customers through complex journeys.
• Willingness to learn retail and healthcare processes.

Required skills

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple digital platforms and guide users.
