HR Business Partner

About the role

WNS is seeking an HR Business Partner to support its Energy & Utilities business unit. The role will partner with hiring managers, operations leaders and employees to drive recruitment, onboarding, engagement, talent management and retention initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and recruitment teams to secure quality hires for bulk and leadership positions.
• Lead employee induction and onboarding processes for all new hires.
• Manage employee queries, ensuring timely resolution and fostering a high‑performance climate.
• Implement and maintain the company’s People Promises, reward and recognition programs, and employee satisfaction surveys (ESAT) with action‑plan tracking.
• Oversee talent management activities, including job profile and KPI maintenance, performance appraisal cycles, personal development plans and probation management.
• Provide coaching and feedback to managers to strengthen people‑leadership capabilities.
• Drive retention strategies by engaging employees, conducting exit interviews and addressing attrition drivers.
• Facilitate IR/ER and discipline management, handling conflict resolution, misconduct and performance issues.
