Hospital Manager – Mental Health (White River, Mpumalanga)

About the role

The Hospital Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for a premium mental health rehabilitation facility in White River, Mpumalanga. You will ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability and a luxury hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations, optimise resource utilisation and maintain high service standards.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation, licensing, accreditation and infection‑prevention programmes.
• Support multidisciplinary clinical teams in delivering evidence‑based addiction treatment.
• Monitor quality indicators, drive continuous improvement and manage risk.
• Foster a compassionate, dignified patient experience and promote staff engagement.
• Manage operational budgets, identify efficiency opportunities and allocate resources effectively.
• Build relationships with referring practitioners, external stakeholders and represent the organisation within the healthcare community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Business Management or related field.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Healthcare Management or Business Administration is advantageous.
• Current professional registration with the relevant health authority.
• Proven experience in senior leadership within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
