Hospital Manager – Lead Hospital Operations

About the role

Reporting to the Hospital Cluster CEO, the Hospital Manager will lead high‑performing teams to manage the hospital platform and execute strategic initiatives that ensure business success and sustainability. The role works closely with doctors, group managers and the executive team to drive growth, innovation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop all hospital departments to meet regulatory, financial, quality, clinical and patient‑centred objectives.
• Drive key financial and quality metrics in line with the organisation’s strategic imperatives.
• Oversee recruitment and marketing of new doctors to support the hospital’s vision.
• Collaborate with business units to implement new technologies, ensuring alignment, integration and adoption.
• Build and maintain relationships with medical professionals and other key stakeholders to foster growth and brand loyalty.
• Ensure operational practices, ethical standards, and nursing care quality are upheld.
• Achieve financial targets, manage productivity, cost efficiency and budgetary responsibilities.
• Monitor technology health of applications and infrastructure, resolve bottlenecks and oversee vendor compliance.
• Drive compliance with regulatory and legislative standards and report on key risk indicators.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including communication, strategic thinking, change management and decision‑making.
• Passion, curiosity, drive and analytical mindset to solve business challenges.
• High integrity, dependability, urgency and results‑orientation.
• Relevant university degree; postgraduate business qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to drive strategy, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to integrate across teams, processes and organisational layers.
