Higher Education Lecturer – Hospitality (Cape Town)

About the role
The International Hotel School, Cape Town Campus is looking for a passionate and experienced Higher Education Lecturer to deliver high‑quality hospitality education and support student development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver interactive, industry‑aligned lessons.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career pathways.
- Stay current with hospitality trends and integrate them into teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and student experience.
Required profile
- NQF Level 7 hospitality qualification (essential).
- Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor (beneficial).
- Scoped by CATHSSETA (beneficial).
- Proficient in relevant computer software and strong administrative abilities.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment.
- Demonstrated record of student throughput and pass rates.
- Minimum 5 years of practical industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience.
