Health Consultant – Vitamins & Supplements (Vryheid)

About the role

Dis-Chem is seeking a Health Consultant for its Princess Mkabayi store in Vryheid. You will specialise in promoting and selling vitamins and supplements, providing expert advice and excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers on health focus products, ensuring high levels of service.
• Maintain stocked and well‑presented merchandise displays in the health department.
• Perform back‑shopping, handle price discrepancies and adhere to store layout standards.
• Implement promotional displays and merchandising material to drive sales.
• Achieve monthly team, brand and vendor targets.
• Monitor stock levels, process weekly returns and conduct basic report analysis.
• Stay updated on new product lines and health trends.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Minimum 6 months sales experience in a vitamins or health environment.
• Strong command of English and computer literate (MS Office).
• Sound numerical skills and willingness to work retail hours.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift objects as required.
• South African citizenship with clear credit and criminal records.
