Head of Finance

About the role

Viya Health, a global femtech company with $40M revenue and 200+ staff, is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its global finance function across 17 markets. The role reports to the President and covers financial planning and analysis, consolidated reporting, financial controls and audit readiness, cash and treasury, lender relationships, pricing and margin governance, and the finance operating model. It is fully remote, with manager approval depending on location, and involves 10-25% travel, primarily international.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual financial planning, budgeting, performance management and commercial finance across all entities, markets and business lines, including the monthly business review.
• Assess investment proposals, build scenario models and own pricing and margin governance, tracking unit economics by brand, market and channel.
• Set up and maintain financial policies, procedures and internal controls, oversee the Controller's output, sign off financial statements, ensure audit readiness and lead the year-end audit.
• Ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance in every country, and own the finance systems roadmap (ERP, consolidation, planning and reporting tools).
• Prepare investor and funder reporting, covenant compliance reporting, restricted grant reporting and the quarterly MD&A report, and present the financial narrative to the President and Board.
• Own cash forecasting and liquidity, manage banking and treasury, lender and investor relationships, and lead future capital raising, debt facilities and inventory financing.
• Manage the finance team, including the Controller, regional finance leads and market finance managers, and develop the finance operating model.
• Partner with the COO on sales and operations planning, inventory policy and working capital, and lead financial due diligence and finance aspects of new market entry and restructuring.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (international equivalent); Master's preferred.
• At least 10 years of related experience, including senior finance leadership in an international context; 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience building or rebuilding a finance function, ideally in a growth-stage company of $25M-$150M revenue.
• Experience in a tech, health or consumer goods business across multiple markets, and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
• Fluent English; Spanish or French is an asset.

Required skills

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) desired.
• Hands-on experience with debt facilities, covenant management and lender reporting.
• Expert Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions; working knowledge of ERP systems (Infor Lawson) and data warehousing or OLAP preferred.
• Experience in a group or holding company structure with shared services preferred.

• Salary ranges of $128,000 to $192,000 gross per year for US hires, depending on location.
