Head of Educational Technologies & Assessment Innovation

About the role

The IMM Graduate School is seeking a visionary leader to head the Centre for Educational Technologies and Assessment Innovation. Reporting to the Dean of Teaching, Learning and Assessments, the incumbent will shape strategy, drive digital assessment transformation and oversee the institution’s Learning Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine the Institutional Assessment Policy, incorporating innovative digital and blended learning models.
• Lead the design and implementation of authentic, adaptive assessment methodologies with robust security, proctoring and anti‑plagiarism frameworks.
• Strategically manage the LMS lifecycle, ensuring alignment with pedagogical principles and semester‑by‑semester optimisation.
• Research, pilot and integrate emerging EdTech tools, cloud‑based authoring platforms and interactive digital learning spaces.
• Oversee LMS administrators, coordinate with external vendors, manage EdTech budgets and licensing.
• Collaborate with academic leaders to support high‑quality digital learning design and multimedia asset creation.
• Establish standardized moderation, marking and data‑analytics workflows to ensure assessment quality and integrity.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in educational technology leadership or similar roles within higher education.
• Strong understanding of digital assessment design, security, and integrity standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex LMS environments and EdTech ecosystems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with deans, programme coordinators and external partners.
