General Medical Practitioner (GP) - Springs

About the role

Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of its client, a well-established and busy medical practice in Springs, Gauteng, for an independent Registered Medical Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis. The start date is 1 July 2026, with a Monday to Friday schedule of 08:00 to 17:00 and 1 to 2 Saturdays per month. The position is commission-based and offers an existing patient base and strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare to patients of all ages and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, conduct consultations and examinations, and prescribe medication
• Promote preventative healthcare and patient education
• Work with practice staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective follow-up
• Maintain compliance with HPCSA regulations and professional standards

Required profile

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification and active HPCSA registration
• Medical indemnity insurance
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a busy practice
• Professional, patient-focused approach and commitment to long-term patient relationships
