Full Stack Tech Lead

About the role

Our client is looking for a Full Stack Tech Lead (PHP/Laravel) to own the technical architecture and hands‑on delivery of its product portfolio. Based in Johannesburg, the role is hybrid, with 2‑3 days a week in the Ravonia office, and focuses on end‑to‑end feature development, client interaction, and strategic technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical delivery across the client’s product portfolio from request to deployment.
• Design, build, test, and deploy features and fixes, ensuring high quality.
• Collaborate with the CTO on architecture, technology strategy, and product roadmaps.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact in client meetings, workshops, and solution discussions.
• Manage project priorities, timelines, and technical execution.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Oversee DevOps, cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and security.
• Design and manage APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Coordinate with product, sales, and support teams to ensure successful delivery.

• Comfortable owning delivery across the full lifecycle without a supporting management layer.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
