Front of House Restaurant Manager (Kyalami)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead the dining area of a trendy restaurant located in the Mall of Africa, Kyalami. The role involves overseeing daily floor operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑of‑house staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Control stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and oversee ordering.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash‑up and reconciliation.
• Maintain smooth restaurant floor flow and address guest inquiries promptly.
• Handle restaurant administration tasks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to speak clearly with guests and staff.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, lead a team, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ambitious, self‑motivated, energetic, and able to work independently.
