Front of House Bar/Restaurant Manager – Menlyn

About the role

The Menlyn upscale restaurant/bar is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead its floor team. You will be responsible for delivering a high‑end guest experience in a fast‑paced environment while overseeing all front‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise waitstaff and bar team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Manage customer relations, handle complaints and maintain service standards.
• Control stock levels, order supplies and oversee bar inventory.
• Coordinate with kitchen and back‑of‑house staff to optimise turnover.
• Maintain a clean, presentable dining area and enforce health & safety policies.
• Schedule staff, manage payroll inputs and monitor performance.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a high‑end, fast‑paced bar or restaurant.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work late hours and weekends as required.
