Front Line Manager - BCM - Core Ops

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Front Line Manager for its Business Continuity Management (BCM) Core Operations team. The role covers operational risk and compliance across core banking and capital markets processes, contractual compliance, information security and data privacy risk assessments, and audit readiness. It is based in South Africa on a standard work shift.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operational risk compliance across core banking and capital markets processes through controls, assessments and reporting.
• Drive contractual compliance by ensuring adherence to Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and client-specific regulatory requirements.
• Conduct Information Security and Data Privacy risk assessments aligned with financial industry standards.
• Establish governance through regular status updates and reviews with Genpact leadership and client stakeholders.
• Lead and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and timely closure of findings.
• Represent the function in discussions on compliance, regulatory issues and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage and mentor a team of Risk & Compliance managers to deliver vertical-specific risk and control objectives.
• Use project management and presentation skills with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to drive execution and communicate results.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Business Analytics.
• Certifications such as CAMS (PSIB), CFE (ACFE), CFF (ICAI) or similar.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).

• Account maintenance, banking capital markets, cash application, credit underwriting, fraud disputes and investigations, loan servicing, personal and retail banking, wealth management and risk management.
• Project management and presentation skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
