French‑Speaking Accountant (Multi‑entity, Xero)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented French‑speaking Accountant to own the full finance function across several entities. The role is based in Century City and supports international operations, requiring strong independent work habits and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting function for multiple entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Execute journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and month‑end close processes.
• Support external auditors during audits.
• Assist with basic tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
• Enhance financial controls and processes.
• Communicate effectively with French‑speaking stakeholders.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting/Finance (essential).
• SAIPA articles preferred.
• Approximately 3 years post‑articles experience or strong equivalent.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Xero (cloud‑based accounting system).
• IFRS principles.
• Financial reporting and management accounts preparation.
• External audit support.
• French language proficiency.
• English language proficiency.
