Franchise Acquisition Banker (Talent Pipeline)

About the role

Capitec Bank works closely with South Africa's leading franchise brands to help entrepreneurs open, grow and take ownership of their businesses. This role turns franchise opportunities into well-structured, well-assessed funding deals. You will control the franchise funding pipeline, hunting and closing opportunities that drive growth of the Business Bank's franchise portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Hunt and close franchise funding opportunities and put together end-to-end funding applications, from first discussion through to approval.
• Assess the commercial and financial strength of franchise businesses and ownership changes.
• Work with franchisors, franchisees and internal teams to gather, verify and analyse information.
• Use established benchmarks and tools so deals are consistent, practical and well-motivated.
• Prepare clear credit proposals and communicate outcomes and conditions to clients.
• Monitor quality, turnaround times and client experience throughout the process.

Required profile

• Relevant commerce or finance qualification preferred.
• Franchise deal origination and execution experience within Business Banking.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.

Required skills

• Strong experience in credit assessment, financial analysis and business deal structuring.
• Experience preparing and motivating credit applications end to end.
• Ability to analyse information, challenge assumptions and explain your thinking clearly.
