Foreman – On‑site Plumbing Operations

About the role

As a Foreman at Lifestyle Plumbing Co you will lead on‑site plumbing operations across residential and commercial projects in Cape Town. This full‑time position involves coordinating crews, managing daily tasks and ensuring all work meets safety, quality and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct plumbing crews on installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure work complies with specifications and regulations.
• Inspect completed work, troubleshoot issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Organise materials, tools and equipment needed for each job.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, inspectors and other site stakeholders.
• Train, mentor and evaluate team members on best practices and safety standards.
• Prepare basic reports on progress, incidents and resource usage.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities with experience coordinating tradespeople.
• Background in plumbing, carpentry or related building trades.
• Proven experience with maintenance, diagnosing issues and planning repairs.
• Relevant trade qualification or progress toward a plumbing certification.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites in Cape Town.
