About the role

The Capital Hotels is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Waiter to deliver exceptional service across its restaurant, room service, and function areas. You will work in a dynamic, guest‑focused environment where teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in the restaurant, room service, and event spaces with speed and courtesy.
• Maintain front‑of‑house standards, ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.
• Handle stock duties, including replenishing supplies and assisting with inventory control.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues calmly.

Required profile

• Matric (high school) qualification.
• Previous restaurant experience is essential.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication with both guests and team members.
• Honest, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented.
• Presentable, well‑spoken, and able to lead by example.
• Proactive, interpersonal, and capable of working shifts.
