Food & Beverage Team Leader – 2 Openings

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking two Food & Beverage Team Leaders for its Phoenix branch in Durban. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to enhance customer experience, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest standards of service and safety in the food and beverage area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and staff the food and beverage department for each shift, ensuring adequate coverage.
• Oversee stock management, including ordering, reconciliation, and inventory control of kitchen, bar, cutlery and crockery.
• Maintain health, safety and facility standards, and ensure the GAAP/POS system is operational during service hours.
• Conduct shift briefings, monitor staff performance, handle discipline and performance issues.
• Ensure cash management procedures, waste reporting, and accurate recording of staff meal purchases.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on food and beverage operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Food & Beverage.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in the hospitality/F&B industry.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
