Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

Join The President Hotel as a Food and Beverage Supervisor and lead a passionate team delivering memorable dining experiences. You will be on the floor, inspiring staff and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service in a high‑volume, luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations to guarantee seamless service.
• Lead, motivate and support the service team throughout each shift.
• Deliver warm, professional service and handle guest requests, complaints and service recovery.
• Monitor restaurant flow, floor standards and food‑beverage quality.
• Assist with staff training, coaching and performance development.
• Support Restaurant Managers with shift planning, stock control, ordering and waste minimisation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and food‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with Kitchen and Front Office teams to create seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Food & Beverage or Restaurant Supervisor in a 4‑star/5‑star hotel, luxury restaurant or high‑volume hospitality venue.
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, wines and cocktails.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays with professional grooming.

• Opera PMS or similar property management system
