Floor Staff – Pub Service Role

About the role

Join a friendly team at The Admiral Collingwood pub, serving food and drinks to customers while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and drinks to the correct specification, both at the bar and via the customer app.
• Deliver food to tables, complete check‑backs, and clear plates within required timeframes.
• Provide friendly customer interactions, greet guests, thank them and build rapport.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, events and new products.
• Uphold ‘clean as you go’ standards – clear tables, wipe surfaces, perform toilet checks.
• Assist in all areas of the pub, including glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden clearing, and other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.
