About the role
This position is with a 100 % black‑owned South African industrial and mining services group that prioritises community empowerment and innovation. The senior team averages ten years’ tenure, reflecting a stable environment. The role offers exposure across multiple sectors while working remotely most of the week, with two days on‑site in the office.
Required profile
- Fully qualified BEE‑compliant Chartered Accountant (CASA) with articles, preferably from a Big Four firm.
- Minimum three years post‑article experience, either as an audit manager in a mining‑focused audit practice or in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrated mining tax knowledge, which can enhance the remuneration package.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Required skills
- Proficiency in applying IFRS.
- Expertise in mining tax regulations.
