Financial Manager

About the role

Network Finance is seeking a strategic Finance Manager to lead the country‑level finance function in Johannesburg North. You will act as the Finance Business Partner to the Country Manager and senior leadership, driving financial performance and influencing key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full financial cycle, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow management.
• Lead financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis to support business objectives.
• Implement cost‑control measures and monitor profitability.
• Ensure compliance with tax, legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity at the country level.
• Partner with business units on decision‑making, pricing strategies and investment initiatives.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, CPA or equivalent (highly advantageous).
• 5–10+ years of finance or accounting experience, including managerial responsibility.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, controlling and business partnering.
• Experience in multinational or complex business environments is beneficial.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP or reporting systems.
