Financial Advisor – Business Financial Advisor (Graaff Reinet)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Financial Advisor to provide personalised risk and investment advice to clients via virtual channels, ensuring compliance with FAIS regulations and FirstRand’s product matrix. The role is based in Graaff Reinet, Eastern Cape, and will involve both new client acquisition and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by advising on FirstRand investment and risk products.
• Identify and forward new business opportunities to relevant product houses.
• Deliver exceptional financial advice that exceeds customer expectations.
• Manage new and existing client portfolios, generating leads and growing the active customer base.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, audit, and process requirements while handling high‑volume, less‑complex deals.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry knowledge to provide effective support and advice.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Financial Planning or a Bachelor of Commerce; preferably a CFP designation.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar financial advisory environment.
• Experience writing business insurance policies and a strong sales, investment and risk acumen.
• No unrehabilitated insolvency and a clean credit record as required by the National Credit Act.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FAIS regulations and FirstRand product matrix.
• Ability to assess client needs, develop tailored investment solutions, and manage portfolios.
