Finance Manager – Midrand (R900k–R1M CTC)

About the role

A leading organisation in Midrand is seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial health and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including Flash, Actuals and Monthly Forecasts.
• Manage reporting on Predict and HFM, and conduct quarterly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow and working‑capital plans.
• Oversee preparation of annual financial statements in line with IFRS and South African tax legislation.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Implement financial controls, risk‑management processes and provide analysis to improve profitability.
• Support logistics, marketing and commercial teams with financial modelling and business analysis.
• Lead and develop the Finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA) or CIMA.
• 5–8 years progressive finance experience, including 2–3 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, South African tax legislation and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical abilities.
