Finance & Insurance Business Manager (F&I)

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join a professional corporate vehicle dealership in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will manage vehicle finance and insurance transactions, ensure compliance, deliver excellent customer service and achieve dealership targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with vehicle finance and insurance options.
• Prepare and process finance applications and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions regarding vehicle finance applications.
• Present suitable finance, insurance and value‑added products to customers.
• Ensure all finance transactions comply with relevant legislation and dealership requirements.
• Manage and follow up on finance applications and approvals.
• Maintain accurate F&I documentation and customer records.
• Work closely with the vehicle sales team to ensure efficient deal finalisation.
• Achieve required F&I targets while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager.
• Experience working within the motor industry and dealership environment.
• NQF 4 FAIS Qualification, RE Accreditation and NCA Accreditation.
• Proven track record with the ability to reach targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle a large volume of vehicles per month.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with strong customer relationship abilities.
• Valid SA Driver’s Licence.
• Grade 12 education.
• Clear criminal record.
