Field Technician – KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)

About the role

Loadtech Loadcells is looking for a motivated and reliable Field Technician to join its KwaZulu-Natal team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining and supporting Loadtech weighing systems at client locations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain Loadtech loadcell and weighing equipment.
• Perform fault finding, troubleshooting, repairs and basic calibration on site.
• Provide professional on‑site technical assistance and customer support.
• Complete service reports, job cards and related documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
• Travel to customer sites throughout KwaZulu‑Natal as required.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Basic electrical and electronic knowledge.
• Proficiency with hand tools and test equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
