Field Service Engineer – KwaZulu-Natal

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will deliver on‑site technical service for industrial power tooling, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably. Working from the Customer Center in Durban, you will support customers across KwaZulu‑Natal by performing repairs, maintenance, installations and calibrations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct planned and ad‑hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot and repair electronic and pneumatic handheld and fixtured tools.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance and document all activities.
• Provide on‑site technical support and recommendations, and respond to emergency call‑outs.
• Carry out calibrations and preventative maintenance according to laboratory and ISO procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and produce written reports on repairs and incidents.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customers to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Engineering Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong sense of ownership and proactive attitude.
