About the role
The client based in Westville, Durban is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a regional property portfolio and drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate the regional property portfolio and develop a 5‑year strategic plan.
- Monitor and report maintenance spend against annual budgets.
- Develop and execute annual Capex expenditure.
- Engage with contractors, service providers and industry professionals.
- Prepare tender documents and manage procurement processes.
- Implement occupational health & safety compliance based on specialist audits.
- Drive environmental and energy‑saving initiatives across the region.
Required profile
- Quantity surveying degree or any building‑related degree.
- 6 to 8 years’ experience in facilities management.
- Knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Understanding of utility management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong administrative abilities and attention to detail.
