Executive Coordinator (Job Grade 16)

About the role

The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) is recruiting an Executive Coordinator for a permanent position at Job Grade 16, based in Midrand, Gauteng. The role provides strategic, operational, financial and governance support to a Group Executive, acting as the central coordination point for the division. It covers divisional planning, project and programme monitoring, budget support, financial oversight with the Finance Division, and handling executive correspondence, reports and governance submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the division's short- and long-term plans, the balanced scorecard and the divisional budget, and track performance against targets
• Prepare and present financial updates, monthly reconciliation reports and executive reports, and act as a point of contact for staff and stakeholders
• Support governance submissions to Exco, the Board and management committees, and facilitate the risk register, risk matrix and management assurance reviews
• Manage the Group Executive's correspondence, meetings, stakeholder engagements and partnership agreements
• Administer the document management system, draft correspondence, and support procurement and tender documentation
• Coordinate HR activities such as HR plans and performance agreements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Project Management or a related field
• At least 8 years' experience in executive coordination, divisional operations, financial reporting, governance support or strategic support, including supporting C-suite executives
• In-depth knowledge of board-level reporting and submissions
