Executive Assistant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Centre for Wildlife Studies is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead its accounting and financial management functions. This full‑time position will support wildlife conservation projects across India by ensuring robust financial controls and transparent reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records using Tally or similar software.
• Lead end‑to‑end ERP implementation and integration across Finance, HR, and Operations.
• Process employee expenses, vendor payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, providing required documentation.
• Prepare project accounting, cost analysis, and financial projections for active projects.
• Oversee fiscal reporting, budget preparation, and monitoring of grant contracts.
• Manage liquidity, cash flow, and investment fund administration.
• Ensure compliance with FCRA, income tax, TDS, EPF, professional tax, and other legal requirements.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of finance experience in a development‑sector organization or large NGO.
• Experience handling annual budgets of INR 10‑15 crore.
• CA, CA‑Inter, or MBA Finance qualification.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
