Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Temporary Shifts in Free State

About the role

MHR is seeking Enrolled Nurses (EN) to cover part‑time shifts in private healthcare facilities across Bloemfontein, Bethlehem and Welkom in the Free State. The role involves providing safe, high‑quality nursing care on general wards and/or intensive care units on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) scope of practice.
• Perform clinical procedures and assessments required for general ward and ICU patients.
• Monitor patients, manage risks and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Immediate availability for placement.
• Valid SANC licence for Enrolled Nurses.
• Previous experience working in a general ward and/or ICU setting.
• Strong understanding of nursing scope of practice and patient care standards.

Required skills

• Clinical procedure demonstration and assessment.
• Risk management in a healthcare environment.
