Driver (Code 10) – Permanent Position in Empangeni, KZN

About the role

TWK Agri is seeking a reliable and safety‑conscious Driver (Code 10) to join its Empangeni Retail team. You will transport agricultural and trade stock to clients safely and on schedule, verify stock counts during loading and off‑loading, complete delivery paperwork accurately, and adhere to road‑safety regulations at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Transport agricultural and trade stock to clients in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Plan delivery routes to optimise turnaround times and fuel efficiency.
• Ensure cargo is loaded correctly and securely before departure.
• Inspect, count and verify stock items during loading and off‑loading.
• Complete delivery notes, waybills and dispatch paperwork accurately.
• Obtain customer signatures and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Strictly obey all traffic laws, road‑safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Report mechanical faults, servicing needs or accidents to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• High School Diploma / Matric (essential) and full literacy.
• Valid Code 10 (Category C1/EC1) driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• At least 2 years experience in stock transportation and delivery (advantageous).
• Bilingual in English and isiZulu (advantageous).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules.
• Strong attention to detail for stock counting and paperwork.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
