Divisional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Industrial & Mining

About the role

The Divisional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will join a diversified industrial group operating in manufacturing, transport, mining and other industrial sectors. Reporting to the Board and working closely with the Divisional CEO, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership and drive growth across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board to shape and execute the division’s strategic objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for all entities.
• Prepare and present monthly management reports and annual audited financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with South African statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee internal audit, risk management and corporate governance frameworks.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and optimise the capital structure, including debt and equity.

Required profile

• Commercially‑minded senior finance leader with a proven record in complex, multi‑entity environments.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing or mining sectors is essential.
• Strong ability to influence business strategy and support investment decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the Board, shareholders and senior executives.
