Delivery Lead – Software Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join a leading banking and financial services organisation. The role will be based at Technopark in Stellenbosch, with four days onsite per week, and will focus on driving the delivery of complex software initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate software engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and technical stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable delivery plans.
• Manage technical dependencies, phased roll‑outs and delivery timelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive Agile delivery practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.
• Monitor milestones, report progress and ensure alignment with product and business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead or similar role in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong technical credibility and ability to work closely with software engineers.
• Immediate availability or ability to start within one month.
• Based in Cape Town and willing to work onsite in Stellenbosch.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of R481.48 – R500.
