Data Scientist

About the role

Agile Bridge is seeking a Data Scientist to transform messy data and ambiguous business questions into reliable models, clear insights and measurable value. This role spans the full data‑science lifecycle, from problem framing to production hand‑over, and requires close collaboration with Data Engineers, AI Engineers and Platform teams.

Key responsibilities

• Frame business problems as testable analytical or predictive questions with clear success criteria.
• Prepare and explore structured and unstructured data, resolve quality issues and engineer useful features.
• Develop, evaluate and explain statistical and machine‑learning models using supervised or unsupervised techniques.
• Design rigorous validation approaches, monitor model performance and recommend recalibration, retraining or retirement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate validated models into production pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 3‑5 years of experience developing and evaluating statistical or machine‑learning solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL capability with a proven ability to write reproducible, testable code.
• Sound knowledge of statistics, experiment design, feature engineering, model evaluation and data visualisation.

• Python programming (pandas, Polars, scikit‑learn, etc.)
• SQL querying
• Data visualisation tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, Power BI, Tableau)
• Version control with Git
• Experience with feature engineering and model validation techniques
