Data Science Developer – Retail Analytics

About the role

This mid‑level Data Science Developer role focuses on the Retail business, designing and delivering scalable data‑science solutions that drive commercial value. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients, gaining exposure to diverse data environments and business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve data architectures that support advanced analytics and machine learning products.
• Build, optimise, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery across multiple sources.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain machine‑learning models and analytical solutions in production.
• Investigate new data sources, technologies, and approaches to unlock commercial opportunities.
• Prototype and develop innovative data‑driven products and features.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and deliver high‑impact outcomes.
• Support and enhance existing predictive models, analytical products, and decision‑support tools.
• Contribute to best practices in code quality, documentation, and deployment processes.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or machine‑learning engineering.
• Proven track record delivering data solutions, pipelines, and ML projects in production.
• Experience creating innovative data products or commercially valuable proof‑of‑concepts.
