Customer Assistant – Stockroom Operations

About the role

Woolworths is looking for a Customer Assistant to support stockroom operations at its Blue Route Mall store. You will help keep the store running smoothly by managing inventory, maintaining displays and delivering friendly service to shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
• Receive, unpack and organise inventory in the stockroom.
• Maintain attractive, orderly product displays in line with company standards.
• Provide prompt, courteous assistance to customers and resolve queries.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Conduct regular stock counts and support inventory control procedures.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience, preferably customer‑facing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good numerical skills for stock counts and cash handling.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
