Country Manager – Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations in Angola. Reporting to head office in South Africa, you will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring brand consistency, and delivering profitable results.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, enforce SOPs, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain brand standards across all customer touchpoints and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with licensing, statutory and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and evaluate high‑potential sites for new outlets, manage permits and compliance.
• Collaborate with head‑office marketing to adapt campaigns to local culture.
• Lead project management for new store development and other initiatives.
• Mitigate operational, financial, legal and reputational risks; handle crisis situations.
• Own P&L, track financial performance, margins and unit economics.
• Drive leadership development, training, succession planning and ensure HR compliance.
• Manage supplier contracts, logistics and procurement activities.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance while controlling costs.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of food and beverage or QSR management experience.
• Proven track record in the responsibilities listed above.
• Knowledge of Angolan legislation and culture; Angolan citizenship preferred.
• Relevant food‑and‑beverage or QSR certification is a plus.
