Contract Manager - Temporary Employment Services

About the role

A leading company is looking for a Contract Manager to oversee all operational processes and activities at its contracted sites, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency. The role requires adherence to company policies and procedures and compliance with relevant legislation in the temporary employment services industry. The position is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure contracted sites operate according to the Service Level Agreement, covering service provided, staff levels, disciplinary matters and the payroll function.
• Balance operational efficiency at each site with financial profitability aligned to the contracted measurables.
• Manage the administration of contracts and allocated sites.
• Report on headcount, CSI, discipline per site and the dashboard per client.
• Manage equipment and consumables.
• Manage health and safety, including reporting all injury of duty occurrences.
• Contribute to business growth, service delivery evaluation and legal compliance.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Twelve) and a diploma or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Diploma in Basic Labour Relations.
• Code 8 (Eight) driver's licence with reliable transport.
• Experience in the temporary employment services industry is a requirement.
• Knowledge of legislation relating to TES and functional outsourcing and employment in the manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
