Consulting Services Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Consulting Services Sales Representative to accelerate the growth of our consulting business across the SADC region. Based in Johannesburg, you will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to help customers solve complex operational, energy and infrastructure challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Drive consulting services revenue, pipeline growth and profitability.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across priority customer segments.
• Position consulting services as a strategic entry point for long‑term partnerships.
• Support sales teams in uncovering, shaping and converting consulting opportunities.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Create pull‑through opportunities into modernization, digital, recurring and other service offerings.
• Champion the value of consulting services across the organization and the customer ecosystem.

Required profile

• Intermediate knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management and the ability to manage service solutions throughout the customer engagement cycle.
• Intermediate skill in Customer Targeting to identify high‑value accounts for services expansion.
• Understanding of industry challenges related to energy transition and digital transformation.
• Experience in Maintenance and Repair to position technical service offerings that extend equipment lifecycle.
• Ability to demonstrate Product Application and how services address unique business needs.
• Advanced consultative selling capability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Developing negotiation skills to structure service agreements that deliver mutual value.
