Compliance Auditor – Talent Pool (Johannesburg)

About the role

Keen to service international clients with the potential to travel? If you hold a relevant degree in IT, IS, Audit or Finance and have at least two years of external IT/IS auditing experience, this position is for you. Experience with change management, ITGC/SOX audits and an interest in the online gambling industry are essential, while CISA or ISO 27001 credentials are advantageous.

Key responsibilities

• Draft client proposals using approved templates.
• Conduct onsite self‑regulatory reviews and regulated‑market audits, issuing certifications as required.
• Perform remote audits via internet‑based conferencing, capturing evidence and documenting findings.
• Prepare audit reports and certificates within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage invoicing where applicable.
• Oversee project management tasks and related administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).

Required profile

• Science or Commerce degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent, supported by valid competency evidence.
• 2–4 years of systems and process IT auditing experience, preferably with a Big 4 or similar firm.
• Exposure to SOX or comparable IT business‑risk and control audits is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, including report writing.
