Compliance Administrator – KYC, CDD & EDD

About the role

We are looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our regulated financial services team in Stellenbosch. This junior‑to‑mid level position will support day‑to‑day compliance monitoring, KYC/FICA, and due‑diligence activities while ensuring adherence to local AML legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Review customer and third‑party documentation against regulatory and internal standards.
• Maintain accurate due‑diligence records, compliance registers and supporting documentation.
• Assist with onboarding audits, ongoing monitoring, mini‑audits and compliance case reviews.
• Respond to due‑diligence requests from banks, payment networks, regulators and business partners.
• Support regulatory submissions, reporting and information requests.
• Identify, escalate and track potential compliance concerns and remedial actions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and provide general administrative support to the Compliance Manager.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Compliance, Risk Management, Law, AML/KYC or a related field.
• Minimum 2 + years experience in compliance, KYC, FICA, AML or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of FICA, AML legislation and related regulatory requirements.
• Practical experience conducting CDD and EDD reviews and assessing documentation.
