Commercial Operations Finance Manager

About the role

Hustle Consulting is looking for a commercially‑savvy Finance Manager to act as the primary bridge between Finance, Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain teams. This strategic, execution‑focused position will drive margin optimisation, cost control and commercial growth in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own gross‑margin performance across projects, regions and product lines; implement pricing, costing, procurement and FX control frameworks.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain to provide insights on project costing, cash‑flow dynamics, working capital and contract structuring.
• Lead end‑to‑end process mapping (order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, project lifecycle) to create scalable best practices.
• Act as functional owner of SAP Business ByDesign, driving adoption, automation and optimisation.
• Produce decision‑focused management reporting (margin, cash flow, management accounts) and ensure data integrity in BI tools.
• Manage contractual, cross‑border trade, FX and supply‑chain risks, coordinating with tax and audit partners.
• Directly manage and develop a high‑performance team comprising a Financial Controller and a Bookkeeper.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial or operational finance with a proven record of margin optimisation and cost control.
• Background in project‑based, supply‑chain and cross‑border trade environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity and ability to solve complex commercial issues quickly.
