Client Services Officer – Umhlanga

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Client Services Officer to join the PathCare team at the Umhlanga branch. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, driving marketing activities and supporting pathology services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong client relations with new and existing stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Area Manager, Zone Managers, Pathologists and senior staff to drive growth and innovation.
• Organise, co‑ordinate and execute marketing activities such as CPD events and wellness days.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities to expand the current market.
• Educate, inform and liaise with all stakeholders, promoting IT platforms.
• Troubleshoot, manage and resolve supporter and patient complaints and queries promptly.
• Maintain and grow the current market by identifying growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Healthcare qualification (Medical Technology/Nursing Diploma or Degree) or at least 5 years marketing experience in a medical environment.
• Extensive experience in a pathology environment and knowledge of pathology terminology.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English with an understanding of Afrikaans.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email).
• QA systems such as PRISM and Point of Care.
• IT systems Meditech and PP3/V3.
