Claims Administrator – Vehicle Insurance

About the role

Hakki Africa is looking for a Claims Administrator to oversee vehicle and fleet insurance claims across its South African operations. The role acts as the main liaison between Hakki Africa and its insurance service providers, ensuring claims are accurately verified, documented, and processed in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate all vehicle and fleet insurance claims against internal records and supporting documentation.
• Gather and confirm required evidence such as incident reports, photographs, police reports, and statements.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and flag potentially fraudulent or high‑risk claims to management.
• Submit verified claims to the appointed insurance service provider within stipulated deadlines.
• Maintain regular follow‑up with the insurer, obtain status updates, and coordinate assessments, repairs, and settlements.
• Document claim progress, monitor turnaround times, and ensure Hakki Africa’s interests are represented throughout the process.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify documentation against internal data.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
• Good communication skills for interacting with insurers, internal teams, and external parties.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately.
