CAD Quality Controller

About the role

Triz Engineering Solutions is seeking a CAD Quality Controller to join its engineering team. The role focuses on ensuring that CAD models and drawings meet internal and customer standards while supporting fast‑paced vehicle development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify 3D/2D CAD data using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Identify deviations from established standards and provide corrective feedback to designers.
• Ensure CAD outputs are accurate, consistent, and manufacturable.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of CAD processes and documentation.
• Assist in training team members on engineering standards and best practices.

Required profile

• South African Matric (Grade 12/NQF Level 5) with a recognized technical qualification (minimum 2 years).
• At least two years of full‑time 3D/2D CAD experience in mid‑to‑high‑end software.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes such as welding, sheet‑metal work, pipe bending, and harness production.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
• High EQ and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Creo or Inventor.
• Knowledge of AI‑enabled tools for CAD quality checks.
• Familiarity with PDM systems and engineering data quality.
• Understanding of automotive component design and integration.
