About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead revenue growth for Premium Placements by acquiring new customers and expanding strategic accounts within the Johannesburg region. This senior commercial position demands a proactive hunter who can leverage an existing network in logistics, warehousing or supply chain to secure high‑value contracts.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics and supply‑chain sector.
  • Develop and manage strategic accounts, targeting C‑suite decision‑makers.
  • Negotiate and close significant deals, delivering measurable results within the first 90 days.
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships to maximize revenue.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while aligning with company objectives.

Required profile

  • Proven track record as a deal‑maker in logistics, warehousing or supply‑chain markets.
  • Established network of contacts and existing client relationships.
  • Commercial maturity and credibility to engage senior executives.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and hit performance targets quickly.
