Branch Manager

About the role

We are a market leader in industrial products and engineering solutions seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Ermelo branch. The role combines commercial responsibility, customer service excellence, and team development in a fast‑moving technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch profitability and meet sales and financial targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the branch team to achieve high performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Manage inventory, stock control and warehouse efficiencies.
• Monitor budgets, expenses and performance against KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards and operational procedures.
• Develop strategies to increase market share within the region.

Required profile

• Grade 12; tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sales or Engineering is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years experience in branch management or senior sales management.
• Proven track record managing sales, operations and staff.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, fluid handling, mining or related technical sectors is highly advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office and ERP systems).
• Valid driver’s licence.
