Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Madadeni)

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is looking for a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor to promote Sanlam Retail Mass products, provide sound financial advice and high‑level client service, and help increase market share in the Madadeni branch.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales by understanding SRM product ranges, assessing client needs and goals, and recommending appropriate solutions while keeping clients informed of product updates.
• Provide in‑branch client service and retention, manage client profiles, send payment reminders, handle policy changes, and resolve queries or escalate when necessary.
• Maintain quality, compliance and continuous development by adhering to regulatory standards, completing CPD, identifying risks and keeping accurate records of advice.
• Plan and report monthly activities, collate data for daily, weekly and monthly reporting, and support the Retail Branch Manager with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• RE5 qualification – advantageous.
• FAIS compliance as required by DOFA for wealth management.
• Commitment to complete Class of Business training within 12 months of employment.
